Day 1: Arrival

Arrive Yangon at 2130hrs. Upon arrive, assist by our guide, check in hotel and dinner at hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast , take a tour through Rangoon’s colonial city centre and visit the Sule Pagoda, the reclining Buddha at the Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, the Karaweik Hall, a floating barge on Kandawgyi Lake and the Bogyoke Market (Scott).Complete your day with a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda,the most popular pagoda in Yangon due to its size, hilltop location and incredible beauty. With 72 shrines at its base, 68 smaller pagodas, sphinxes, leogryphs and its glittering golden stupa it is a glorious sight to behold.

Day 3: ( Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyo ) B+L+D

After breakfast start trip to Kyaikhtiyo pagoda,on the way visit to the capital city of Bago,it was built in 825 AD by two Mon brothers from Thaton: Thamala and Wimala.Formerly known as Pegu.Visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the reclining Buddha of Shwethalyaung Pagoda and Kanbawzathadi Palace. Continue drive to Kyaikhto’s Kin Pun base camp and then on to one of Burma’s famous landmarks, Kyaiktiyo the ‘Golden Rock’. Covered in gold leaf and perched on the edge of a cliff it is said to balance on a single strand of Buddha’s hair. The journey from the base camp to the pagoda is made in open-top trucks followed by a walk (approx. one hour) up a steep path to the sacred site.There is also an indulgent option of being carried by porters in a sedan chair.

Day 4: ( Kyaikhtiyo-Moeyungyi Wetlands Bird Sanctuary ) B+L+D

Early morning sightseeing around the pagoda and drive back to Moeyungyi Wetlands Birds Sanctuary Located in Bago City and every year, millions of birds usually fly from the northern hemisphere to the south along the East Asian Australian Flyway to escape from winter. They stop to rest and feed in Asia. So the flyway contains a network of wetlands and Moeyungyi is one of which is cooperating to certain migrated as well as domestic birds.A census at Moeyungyi revealed that there are 125 species of water birds including 70 species of migrants. Little Grebe, Purple Heron, Grey Heron, Sarus Crane, Asian Open-Bill, Ruddy Shelduck,etc., can be seen abundantly.The best season to visit is from November to February.Visit the water park refuge by boat and also use the observation stands.Overnight at Moeyunggyi Wetlands Resort Hotel.

Day 5: ( Moeyungyi Wetlands - Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp ) B+L+D

Breakfast at hotel,drive to Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Camp,Located in Taikkyi Township and after 2 hours drive arrived and The tour includes trekking with riding elephant about 45 min:,seen beauty and serenities of natural virgin forest it’s surrounding would be unforgettable.And then drive back to Yangon,on the way visit at Htauk Kyant War Memorial Cemetery.After that visit to Shwe Nyaung PinBo Bo Gyi Nat Nan and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: ( Yangon - Syriam - Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue - Jetty ) B+L+D

Breakfast at hotel.Spend a day exploring the quiet, charming town of Syriam and one-hour drive from Yangon. Visit the hilltop pagoda at Kyaik Khauk, which is 4 kilometres outside of the town centre.Also visit Ye Le Paya (also called Kyauktan)which is built on a small island.We’ll take a local boat across to this unique temple.Drive back to Yangon and visit to Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue,is the last remaining Jewish house of worship in Downtown Yangon and Burma’s only synagogue. During Cyclone Nargis in May 2008,the synagogue lost its roof and sustained water damage.The current Jewish population of Yangon is about 20 people.After that China Town Shopping and sightseeing at Pansodan Jetty for evening sun set.

Day 7: ( Yangon-Bagan ) B+L+D

Transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan( Archeological sites).Visit to some of the most important temples and pagodas in the vicinity including the Shwezigon Pagoda (built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century) Then visit to Sulamani Guphaya,Thatbyinnyu , AnandaTemple (An architectural masterpiece)Kyansittha-U-Min (a tunnel with interesting mural painting),Mingala Zedi (the last of the large pagodas built in 13thCentury. Travelling in the traditional way in a colourfully decorated ox cart around some of Bagan’s temples.

Day 8: ( Bagan ) B+L+D

After breakfast visit to another remarkably large temple in Bagan,visit Htilo-Minlo Temple (famous for its plaster carving), Manuha Temple with the fine carvings temple and Gubyaukkyi Temple with fine mural paintings of Jataka scenes.DhammayangyiTemple( the highest and the massive one) the inside of temple remains unknown up to this day as it is covered by thick and fine brick walls and hence inaccessible. Then visit to Tharabar Gate,Nyaung Oo Market and lacquer ware house. In the evening, sun set viewing at Buphaya near Ayeyawaddy River.

Day 9: ( Bagan - RV Paukan Cruise To Mandalay ) B

After breakfast transfer to the jetty and board the RV Paukan,These cruises have been designed to be a relaxing interlude during a tour of Myanmar. You will experience the river life and visit villages off of the usual tourist trails adding to your trip an unforgettable experience.The embarkation is 11.30 hrs at Bagan Aye Yar jetty. Welcome Cocktail in the Saloon. The Cast off time is at 12 noon Lunch will be served at 13.00. In the evening stop at a local village to observe a traditional.Dance and Drama show on the sundeck and overnight at RV Paukan Cruise. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board during a two night stay.

Day 10: ( RV Paukan on board ) B

Enjoy breakfast on board,Cruise all day with stop enroute in the morning to visit Yandabo, a typical river village specialize in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826.Moor overnight nearby a village (Ywar Thit Gyi or Pauk Myaing Pauk Taw) few miles away from Ava Bridge. Dance and Drama show on the sundeck and overnight at RV Paukan Cruise.

Day 11: ( RV Paukan Cruise - Mandalay ) B+L+D

Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at Sagaing Jetty .Heading to Mandalay,The country’s second largest city and the cultural and religious centre for Buddhism in Burma.Mandalay Hill, which overlooks the city, is home to the world’s largest book, a ‘Buddhist Bible’ carved into 729 slabs of stone housed within a white stupa.Visit to the U-Bein bridge(across a big Taung-Tha-Man Lake). Shwe Inbin Monastery, the Golden Palace Monastery,the Kuthodaw Pagoda and the Mahamuni Pagoda.Mandalay is also a major arts and crafts centre where you can visit the Kalaga tapestry craftsmen’s shop.Later you will head to Mandalay Hill to witness a beautiful sunset.

Day 12: ( Mandalay - Inle Lake ) B+L+D

Transfer to the airport for flight to Heho,arrive Heho and drive to inle lake by car and sightseeing by board boats for an excursion into the beautiful Inle Lake which is known for the local fishermen, nicknamed leg rowers for their distinctive style of rowing and its lush floating gardens. Enjoy winding through the lake’s waterways which are surrounded by reeds and other floating plants. Move onto the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, one of the principle shrines of Burma. Visit to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery,famed for its jumping cats trained by the monks.

Day 13: ( Inle - Inndein ) B+L+D

Visit to Inn-Dein pagoda complex (ancient thousand of Shan pagodas), reached by private boat and short walk through the village and the covered colonnade walkway.consists of hundreds of stupas abandoned to the elements,overgrown with moss, crumbling around the edges and utterly charming. Visit to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, famed for its jumping cats trained by the monks. Enjoy two nights at the Hotel. (If timeavailable, visit to southern part of Inle Lake by boat)
